Breakthrough presents teams with a series of quick ‘problem solving’ challenges, each carefully designed to explore communication and highlight aspects of team working that all too often go unnoticed! After understanding the desired outcomes of each challenge, participants quickly evaluate the resources at hand, set realistic goals and reach a consensus on how these will be achieved. The allocated time slots are ‘just enough’ to complete each challenge, so teams are ‘pushed’ but remain motivated by their successes. Teams are encouraged to review their performance and take learning’s forward to the next challenge. In a comparatively short time individuals appreciate how their interpersonal styles may affect their team’s success.
Considering that Breakthrough is a great platform for learning, how about considering an ‘event in kind’? Donate a full Breakthrough event to a school, youth group or any charitable foundation that would benefit from the educational relevance of this challenge. To play our part we will provide this at a heavily discounted price.
"On behalf of the PwC co-ordinators, a very, very big thank you to you and your team for the most awesome day. From the first minute to the last, JP and his team were outstanding - friendly, helpful and comfortable with the large number of delegates. Their excitement and enthusiasm in explaining, executing and supporting the two activities ensured that everyone knew what to do and more importantly, guaranteed fun and minimum frustration. Gerry, congratulations on your choice of the two activities for us - you tuned into our requirements brilliantly and couldn't have made better choices to allow our staff to communicate and get to know each other better. At the end of the day a tangible legacy has been created in The Big Picture that we will cherish for many years to come. When the Big Picture was unveiled, there was an audible gasp from everyone. Even those of us who helped with the initial concept had no idea how stunning the end result would be!"
